Barbara J. Kennedy Joins The Novo Group Board of Directors

August 9, 2010 (Milwaukee, WI) – The Novo Group, a Managed Recruitment Outsourcing firm headquartered in Milwaukee with an office in Chicago announced today that Barbara Kennedy, the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for United Stationers has joined Novo’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining United Stationers as Senior VP of Human Resources in 2008 Ms. Kennedy spent nine years with Swift Transportation Company, Inc. where she was Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Safety, Recruiting and Driver Services. Ms. Kennedy also served as Vice President, Human Resources promoted from within as a Director of Quality Assurance. Before joining Swift, Ms. Kennedy spent five-years at Barr-Nunn Transportation, where she held various management positions in human resources. In addition Barbara had a highly successful sales career at Dale Carnegie and was the #2 sales representative globally one year. Ms. Kennedy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
