Eric Mraz is currently the Director of Human Resources for the Novo Group, a Milwaukee based professional services firm focused on serving the talent acquisition and outplacement needs of companies across the US.

Eric joined Novo in 2006 in a contractor capacity to support Novo’s Marketing efforts but soon thereafter was offered a role as Resource Manager. In this role Eric was key in helping build strategy and process around Novo’s internal hiring methodology while building Novo's onboarding playbook. While in this role Eric was also instrumental in the recruitment and on-boarding of a number of key recruiters at Novo. This growth helped lead the firm to be named Largest Executive Search firm in Wisconsin by The Milwaukee Business Journal (’07, ’08). In addition, Eric helped support the business development team by effectively translating ideas to reality by addressing branding, marketing and communications needs. During this time Eric was also critical to establishing Novo’s internal training and education for delivery and sales.

In 2008 Eric was promoted to Corporate Operations Manager where he led a Corporate Task Force focused on process improvements and streamlining delivery protocol. In this role Eric was able to maintain responsibility for resource & tool evaluation, ATS and CRM administration, vendor management and selection as well as training and on-boarding of new employees. Eric’s tireless efforts to support Novo’s teams while helping make Novo a great place to work have been illustrated by Novo’s most recent round of awards including but not limited to: MetroParent Magazine’s Family Friendly Award (’07-’08), the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Best Places to Work (’08), and the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. Eric’s latest success was his key role in developing and rolling out NextPlace in 2009, Novo’s Career Transitioning Service.

Prior to Novo Eric was the Director of Marketing for ANS Home Health Services, an organization that Eric was able to rebrand and market in southeast Wisconsin. He was instrumental in expanding operations from Milwaukee & Ozaukee County to serve a 7 county region, leading to almost 200 percent revenue growth in 3 years.

Eric graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2000. An avid volunteer he has served on numerous boards  and is also a member of the Chicago Chapter of Staffing Management, Chicago HRQ and The Center on Halsted’s Director’s Circle.
