A major mid-west hospital was turning away emergency room patients because they were understaffed.

The organization's new VP of Human Resources reached out to Novo as she had success with them in the past and needed a quick solution.  Because they did not have a Director of Recruitment at the time and their recruiters were overworked, they decided to outsource all their critical hires to Novo.

Their recruiting department had no standard process, recruiters were using 3rd party search firms without success and their technology was not being leveraged.

Novo's Solution

Fully managed outsourcing of their department including:

  • Internal recruiter training on process
  • Segmentation of the most critical roles to Novo's recruiter and research team
  • Optimizing the client's ATS process and reporting as well as hiring manager training on how to best utilize the system and process

Results

Novo hired 65 nurses with a cost per hire of 9% and reduced the time to hire from 102 days to 44 days.  Because of the integrated model 42% of the hires came from the clients own ATS system. The big win was having all the hiring managers trained on a process that would net better time to hire results.
